I absolutely love the LifeProof nuud case for iPad. It does exactly what it advertises it will do - protect your investment from "life"! Water, dirt, snow, and drops are a part of life, and we shouldn't expect our gadgets to be immune from those things, especially when we bring them everywhere we go. I think the case is a stroke of engineering genius. When I look into the finer details, it's amazing how many little details are just right. The o-rings, charge port door and plugs are thick with high quality rubber that don't easily tear. I still don't understand how the speaker amplifier works, but it's incredible how the manufacturer has figured out how to cover something without muffling it - better yet, enhance it! The outer shell of the case is made of solid rubber and plastic, and it feels great in your hands. The cover seems well made, and I appreciate that it's translucent so you can see if the screen is still on. The iPad I tested it on was my 10 year old daughter's iPad. She bought it with her own money, but we had reservations about letting a 10 year old carry around a $600 piece of technology because of the possibility of accidental breakage. We ran out and got a case for her immediately, because we wanted to protect it. The case was good, but I feared it wouldn't prevent breakage from a drop, and it definitely wasn't water proof! The nuud case took those fears away. My wife had her iPad on her lap under her purse in the car one day, and when we arrived home she lifted up her purse and got out of the car, and the iPad went flying, hit the curb, and the screen smashed to bits. If we had of had the nuud case and cover on it, I'm convinced it wouldn't be broken today.

My family absolutely LOVES the LifeProof nüüd case for iPad!!! It is completely waterproof, shockproof, drop proof and most importantly KID PROOF!!! It is lightweight and smooth, we love the feel of the case. What a fantastic product that every iPad user should own for peace of mind to protect their expensive "toys"!!!

The LifeProof nüüd case for iPad is a must-have for anyone that lets their children use the iPad. It's like taking out a warranty and with the cost of the iPad, the price is well worth-it. Not only does this ensure the longevity of your iPad, it will also allow you to relax and let your child use the iPad without you having to constantly hover around them. While the case does slightly increase the weight of the iPad, the benefits outweigh the increase in weight.
