It’s the Move of the Month! These are all moves I really use with my Fit Family personal training clients and in our fantastic Belly Bootcamp prenatal and postnatal classes. The Moves of the Month are all simple and effective, and they’re perfect for exercising at home,or at your gym… or even your local park. Try this month’s move! On the go, on the cheap… there are tons of reasons to skip the gym (and the babysitter and the line-ups for treadmills and the creepy guy who keeps lifting his shirt to ‘wipe his face’ and show off his six-pack). Summer is an especially tempting time to forgo the gym altogether. But skipping the gym shouldn’t mean skipping your workouts! There are tons of exercises you can do with little or no equipment. Ah, March… slush is in the streets, spring is in the air and everybody in the whole, freakin’ world is in the gym. At least for a few more weeks. No waiting for treadmills. No settling for half-dry towels because the front desk staff can’t keep up with the demand for laundry. I’ve been teaching Belly Bootcamp classes five days/week and have actually put my gym membership on hold until my second child is born in November and I have a couple of months off to hit the gym myself. Most of … Continue reading
