One of the things the amazing people at PlaSmart said when they agreed to let me do a review and giveaway of one of their PlasmaCars, was that I should only use photos or videos that I took myself. As you can see from the image above, it looks as though I didn’t follow their instructions very closely…. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I can assure you that those 4 PlasmaCars all belong to me! You see, my wife runs a daycare in her spare time (LOL, kidding honey!) and we have 6 kids in the house at any given time. Even … Continue reading
I love clothes. I have ever since I was little. In fact, as a kid, my favourite toy was a set of Fashion Plates. So when I grew up and had a little girl, I practically squealed with joy at the thought of the cute clothes I’d dress her in. Fast-forward almost 5 years, and I can tell you one thing – my daughter chooses what she wants to wear, no matter how many suggestions I give her. And, to be honest, I prefer it that way… although, I’ll admit, some days I completely cringe at her pairings. To me, … Continue reading
COMPOSER CAT MOZART plush toy, along with CD, and beautifully illustrated book are a refreshing change in today’s toy market. I have to admit, when i first received this toy I thought my children would hate it! I was pleasantly surprised when they became engaged in the music and listened attentively to the story. This is now a bed-time favorite in our house! My boys cant wait to get into bead and hear the Mozart mystery storybook along with their own personal touch of music while pressing the cat endlessly. This is a toy that every parent will enjoy! A … Continue reading
I originally thought this would be alright for my 4 year old but quickly learned it was more advanced, so my 8 year old actually got a new game. I am kind of glad though since it involves reading and that is something she is falling behind on. We have always liked The Magic School Bus cartoons, and found them really educational (and fun!). I can’t say that there was wasn’t a time when even mom was not glued to the screen of an underwater adventure on the bus. In this game, there are 7 levels. That might sound like a small … Continue reading

The toys are designed in Australia and made from sustainable maple wood and textiles, which means that in addition to being so fun and cute, they are also eco-friendly! With the prehistoric series, Farm, Australian and Wild collections these toys are a must-have on my list! Each animal (sold seprately) has an attached tag with a web-code for interactive play online. The site is simplistic and easy to use for children, with information that describes each animal individually with fun facts … Continue reading
My household has a serious soda lover! Not only is it so NOT good for you, but it is also expensive and all those cans and bottles are not good for the environment. At Christmas I decided to buy a Soda Stream Soda maker for my DH as a gift that would keep on giving. Sometimes when you buy these novelty type products they fade and get shoved in the back of your cupboard and forgotten about. Well I can happily say our soda maker sits proudly on our counter 7 months after being purchased – and it is not … Continue reading
