The Endorsement Parents Look For

Time really does go too fast.  Even though my kids are still relatively young, I still look back at the pictures of them as babies and think “I can’t believe they were ever that small!” Thank goodness I took thousands of pictures of every stage because at least I can hold onto the memories of all those precious moments that went way too fast.  So now when I’m looking in wonder at my two toddlers who are more “kids” than they are “babies”, I can still vividly recall their dimpled little infant hands and their teeny tiny feet that used … Continue reading

One of the things the amazing people at PlaSmart said when they agreed to let me do a review and giveaway of one of their PlasmaCars, was that I should only use photos or videos that I took myself. As you can see from the image above, it looks as though I didn’t follow their instructions very closely…. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I can assure you that those 4 PlasmaCars all belong to me! You see, my wife runs a daycare in her spare time (LOL, kidding honey!) and we have 6 kids in the house at any given time. Even … Continue reading

That’s Right! I Said It! With the addition of Dan from DadDoes yesterday and now myself, we have set our plan in motion to overtake the PTPA brand and turn it into a place for Dads (and Non-Dad Males) to kick back, relax and watch hockey. Sure, we’ll still contact brands and all the other good stuff that goes on here but the brands will be limited to Beer companies, Video Game manufacturers and movie studios that make Super Hero flicks. Muahahaha!!! Just Kidding! Or am I…. About My Family: I am father to two wonderful children, ages 2 & … Continue reading

With society displaying images of young girls wearing short skirts, tight tops, 7 year olds with cell phones and stick thin models it can be a challenge for young girls to feel empowered from the inside and learn to love their own mind, body and spirit. My company Little Lotus Yoga teaches children’s yoga classes to children of all ages and I am seeing more and more young girls who struggle with self esteem and peer pressure as they attempt to steer themselves through our complicated society with images and messages of thin is best, pretty are those who wear … Continue reading

As I have mentioned before (read here or here) I love trucks over cars, any day! The bigger the better, more rumble equals more love! But there is one other feature that stands out on a truck for me and I know my hubby would agree. It’s a nice set of tread and rims! When R family got the opportunity to test drive some tread through PTPA, I knew daddy would be in his glory. His first manly PTPA review, on a topic he felt comfortable with! I too had a cheek to cheek smile that was permanent! When you live in snow country like us, good … Continue reading

Chapters Indigo to me has always been that spot that I go to for my “own” time. It’s that place that I know I can grab my Starbucks Americano Misto and curl up in a cozy chair with a stack of books and start sifting through them to find the one that is just right. There’s something about the cozy atmosphere that just draws me to the store every few weeks. My love of reading is paired perfectly with my love for this store. Continue reading
