I am very excited to join PTPA as a Blogaholic! I also blog at Teen Toddler Newborn where I post about the life of a mom who is parenting one of each. Parenting a child in each category is challenging, fun and a little exhausting. We try to keep it “green” in our home and share some of that as well. We live in the Arizona desert where I try my best to babywear in the heat and use cloth diapers. (I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t mention it) Aside from being a mom and wife I also work … Continue reading
Quite often, when speaking to companies who are considering whether or not to enter the PTPA Award, I hear the words, “What will the ROI be?” Measuring the ROI of an award can be difficult because the results all depend on what you do with it once you’ve won (do you put it on your packaging, do you show it to people on TV?) however people often don’t realize that when they win a PTPA Award, they get social media marketing with it (depending on the package).
Winners are in PINK listed below the prize! Congratulations! All winners have now claimed their prizes. Prizes are being shipped! Thank you to all who entered! **Please note** You must complete this form to claim your prize no later than May 9th 2013. You will also receive a confirmation email shortly. Socializing online has its good and bad, for some being able to converse, give opinions or spark up debates seems easier than in real life. Although this might seem more convenient, the downside is how do you know to whom are you really conversing with and why should it matter? Continue reading
An Unconventional Approach to New Year’s Resolutions I don’t like making resolutions on New Year’s Eve. As a psychotherapist, I am in the business of personal change. Believe me when I tell you, that promises made over champagne flutes at midnight rarely amount to any real sustainable change. So how do I manage my resolutions as a professional “in the know”? Here are some tips for how I approach my own personal family goals. Hopefully these ideas can help make real family transformations for you this year too: 1. Change the Date. I celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day instead … Continue reading
