Let’s relive our teen years and talk about our celebrity crushes for a moment. Mama’s and Papa’s can have crushes too right? _________________________________________________________________ What if you could have 1 day with your celebrity crush? Who would it be? What would you do…well I mean besides the obvious What would be the 1 question you would ask them? For many of you who know me, you already know that I am slightly in love with Lenny Kravitz…those deep eyes that can see right through your soul, perfectly coloured skin with not a flaw in sight, that hair -gorgeous, those muscles – OMG, and … Continue reading

Boy oh boy has Niagara Falls changed, or what! Before having our kids, Mar and I would make the occasional jaunt to Niagara Falls for a couples weekend getaway, enjoying the types of attractions and amenities that became the hallmarks of Niagara Falls earning the distinction as North America’s honeymoon capital. Back then, there would be weekends filled with winery tours, picnics, sight-seeing by day, followed by some fine dining, recreational gambling and topped off with some bow-chicka-wow-heart-shaped-hot-tub fun. So when my family was graciously invited to be guests at the Falls Avenue Resort a few weeks ago, I really … Continue reading

Socializing online has its good and bad, for some being able to converse, give opinions or spark up debates seems easier than in real life. Although this might seem more convenient, the downside is how do you know to whom are you really conversing with and why should it matter? Continue reading
I am so excited to introduce myself as a new Blogaholic. My name is Kim and I am a Canadian mom to four kids (boys and girls) aged 4-almost 19. I can be found most days posting about being a redhead on my blog Tales of a Ranting Ginger I love to share deals and coupons I find that help save families money. I also enjoy reviewing products and trying out anything new. There is something exciting about being one of the first to test out a product. That is actually how I originally found PTPA. I was home with … Continue reading
I’ve been thinking about this post for a few days now, and haven’t really been sure how to get started. Not long ago, I mentioned the fact that my New Years resolution is a little bit different this year. It really is, and here’s why… While getting healthy is certainly on my to do list (it’s been a long time coming, and I’m at the point now where it’s really, really necessary) it’s not at the top of my resolutions for 2013. As a Mom to two young kids, the last few years have seen me completely wrapped up in … Continue reading
After an entire month of some nasty virus’ going around in my house, including (but not limited to) the stomach flu, bronchitis, and a double ear infection, I’m actually glad to welcome January and a new year! My kids were both on amoxacillin this Christmas, limiting the amount of festivities we were able to take part in. As a friend of mine said, “every kid needs that crappy ‘I was sick during Christmas’ story.” … I guess both of my kids have that story now. New Years Eve is going to be all about hanging out with the family. … Continue reading
