I don’t think I know any child who doesn’t enjoy playing with blocks, it is a pastime that can get all of my kids playing together building everything from bridges to castles and having all kind of fun stories to go with it. Recently I had the honor of working with gibout toys when they sent me 3 Large Gibout Blocks for my kids to enjoy and review. When they first arrived I was surprised and excited to see what kind of fun that the kids would have with these oversized blocks, and it didn’t take long for McKenna ask … Continue reading
Many Many times have I awoken from a beautiful sleep in my comfy warm bed because my pillow has fallen down into the eternal abyss which is the gap between my bed and the headboard. It has to be one of the most annoying things that I deal with, we lose kids toys, pacifiers, remotes, and then we find ourselves struggling oh so hard to fit all of our arm down there or we have to get up out of bed and do the army crawl under it to find it. So when I was contacted by the Bed Wedge … Continue reading
Perplexus… What’s a Perplexus?? Just one of the coolest games around combining skill and thought into one ball of fun… literally!! When we received the Plasma Car we also got the chance to review Perplexus, another fantastic product from the minds of the good people at Plasmart. Perplexus is a stimulating maze game for ages 8 and up, where you must guide a marble through various different barriers inside a clear ball, Its like labyrinth in compact ball form. There are 100 different barriers to get through before you have nothing left ( But trust me it will take you … Continue reading

You often will go out and see kids whisking through apps on their parents smart phones Ipads Etc.. and my kids are no different. Mckenna knew how to work my phone before I had fully figured it out, and that Ipad that my husband got for his birthday quickly became hers stuffed to the brim with different games for her to play. McKenna also … Continue reading
My kids love when I make homemade tacos, so do I but I don’t really love all the work that is put into making them ( Yes I make my tacos very different from most). I box Jiffy Cornbread Mix 1 egg ( for cornbread mix) 1 Cup Milk (for Cornbread mix) … Continue reading
So just so everyone knows I do post things other then recipes, but this one turned out too good to not share!!! *** Warning*** The baking of this recipe will lead to mass consumption of Brownies!!!! Enjoy!! For some reason whenever I’m sick I feel the need to bake, this time while I wandered the aisles of the grocery store all I could think about was making Oreo Brownies!!! Yummy yummy, I made what Kenna calls Rainbow cake tonight ( some call it tye dye cake) It is one of her faves because of all of the colors and of course because of how it tastes!! Now I’ve taken the easy road with these by using box mixes instead of making them from scratch like I usually do, but honestly with lack of time and juggling the kids, dinner, cleaning and just life in general its sooo quick and sooo good!! Heres what you will need. A cute assistant if you have one.. I made 2 9 inch round … Continue reading
