Recently I was introduced to Kidaroo Crew’s innovative Sippy Grab Labels. Thank heavens for that! Sippy Grab Labels are a fun, creative and reusable label that were designed by a Mom with parents and caregivers in mind. This innovative reusable sippy and bottle label is one of a kind. Parents all know firsthand how easily children tend to misplace or interchange cups when out at a play date, at home or at daycare. Sippy Grab Labels are a smart, fun way to not only stylize your child’s sippy cup and/or bottle, but it is also a smart and ideal solution … Continue reading
I had the delight of reviewing a Kobo Mini just a little while ago. I had some hesitations going into the review. I was a skeptic. Sadly, a prior bad experience with an e-reader ruined my perception of them. My previous e-reader had major issues! The Kobo Mini I received was shockingly very user friendly. It restored my faith in e-readers very quickly. They really aren’t all that bad. The Kobo Mini is the perfect e-reader for an individual who is on the go; a person who commutes long distances or loves to travel. It’s compact. It has wifi capabilities. … Continue reading
This has been one of those years that I have been at a total loss of what to get my children for Christmas. I feel like they have every toy known to man. What else could possibly be out there for them? Lots apparently. The search for toys to add to my children’s wishlists was overwhelming. It also didn’t help that I had the grandparents breathing down my back, as I was busy hemming and hawing. Recently, I was introduced to the Playskool Toy Finder. It has been a time saver! Playskool Toy Finder served it’s purpose and helped me pinpoint … Continue reading
Recently, I had the opportunity to review the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu for two fabulous full weeks. I have to admit when I initially was invited to partake in the review campaign through PTPA Media Inc., I did have my hesitations. My Dad has been working in the auto industry since long before my time. He raised me to love import car companies. He tried to sway me to never purchase a domestic car… “They just aren’t up to snuff”, he would day. I wouldn’t say his intention was to brainwash me. I just didn’t know any different. That was until … Continue reading
Sesame Street has been a household name since 1969. As a child, I never really anticipated that Sesame Street would be a growing phenomenon that continued well into my years of motherhood. Sesame Street was once a show that I would watch in the wee morning hours, after school and on the weekends. It’s now continuing an era whilst entertaining my children. My favorite Sesame Street muppet has always been Elmo. With Abby Cadabby being a close second. The red furry muppet made his first appearance on Sesame Street in 1972 as Baby Monster. Over the years, the furry red monster’s … Continue reading
Last year, I read a quote on Yummy Mummy Club’s Facebook Page. This quote stuck with me… “A Veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank cheque payable to their country for an amount up to and including their life. That is beyond honour and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. Remember to take a moment of silence today at 11:00am to honour our soldiers and their families.” Today marks Remembrance Day. Take a moment today to pause, reflect and honour all the veterans and soldiers … Continue reading
My children love to learn about the world we live in. They may both be under the age of 3, but they are at the ripe age of learning and taking in a vat of knowledge. Their curious minds love to inquire about everything. They love discovering new areas of the world, learning about other cultures and various animals. Our family had the opportunity to review the Discovery Kids Activity World Map. The Discovery Kids Activity World Map is a fabric mat that comes packaged with many country and landmark indicators, as well as colorful animals. The indicators were almost felt-like … Continue reading
I had the pleasure of touring and reviewing the Sears The Baby’s Room a few months ago. The Baby’s Room is a department within the Sears store that is quite familiar to me. I have two children aged 3 and under. Over the years I’ve done my share of shopping at Sears whether it be for clothing, big ticket items or baby gear. Baby gear tends to be the more common reason that I visit Sears these days. My experiences in the Sears The Baby’s Room has varied from poor to great over the years. When I was pregnant with … Continue reading
