Okay, because I am supposed to be objective and love all of the PTPA winners equally, I rarely if ever post a product review. Except when I truly LOVE something. I truly LOVE something. This something has the potential to shrink my hips, make my kids laugh with me (okay, at me) hysterically, and quite frankly, shrink my hips. What is this magical device I speak of? The Y Flicker! Yes, granted, its the oddest name and completely non descript when it comes to telling the potential buyer what they might be getting, but in terms of a product…it’s awesome! … Continue reading
I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to listen to Oprah speak in Hamilton courtesy of CAA South Central Ontario.
I am not that person who wants to be everywhere and attend every social event. In fact, I am the opposite of that person. As I live on a plane most weeks, I am happy to stay home with my family when I do have some down time. But the chance to hear Oprah live? Couldn’t pass that one up. First off, our most recent PTPA winner CAA South Central Ontario, is surprisingly a fantastic March break resource. I always thought of them as road side assistance but little did I know that even with the most basic of their membership packages, … Continue reading

According to Gartner research, in 2010, there were 10.3 million tablets sold, in 2011, there were closer to 66 million sold and the estimate for 2012 is 110 million tablets. That’s a lot of tablets with a lot of security vulnerabilities for our children. We monitor our children’s social activities carefully, we always want to know where they are and who they are with but yet with the online world, we very often leave them to their own devices, literally. This is a dangerous route to take and as busy as we are, just like we wouldnt leave our toddlers … Continue reading
