pancakes

This is a super easy recipe for the fluffiest, most delicious pancakes.
PANCAKES

INGREDIENTS -
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
METHOD -
  • In large bowl combine egg, milk and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry, stir gently.
  • Pour in melted butter and stir gently until smooth.
  • Ladle mixture into medium/high buttered frying pan.
  • Cook until bubbles appear on surface and underside is golden.
  • Flip and continue cooking until golden.
Enjoy with butter and pure maple syrup!

Christine, before I started making these we always used the boxed mix, no comparison, these are delicious!

Those look scrumptious, have you ever tried Ukrainian Potato Cakes? I was surprised that my 3 yr old actually liked them, pretty much a homemade hash brown, Irish one’s are even better, I suggest giving them a try, something different :)

I have never tried Ukrainian Potato Cakes Jason, I’m going to look up a recipe a bet they would be delicious!

They are very good :) I suggest using green onions and some spice as they are pretty plain, I also suggest that you dry the potato shavings in a cheese cloth as mine turned out with quite a bit of starch left in the bowl! Best of luck and I hope you like them as much as I do :)
