It was way too early in the season for a leaning-over-the-balcony scene.
And yet, there we found Bachelor Sean on Monday night, leaning over the balcony, devastated over having to dump Leslie H. (pictured), of all people. Leslie was far too intelligent for The Bachelor (the show and probably the man himself), and to be working as a poker dealer (but that’s another deal altogether). But at least she made off with a pricey parting gift in the form of two giant diamond earrings. Cha-ching!
Here are some other random notes/complaints about Monday’s episode:
- A roller derby is not a good group date. Especially when one of the members of the group — the gorgeous, down to Earth Sarah — is down one arm, that arm being the one that’s on the low side of the rink’s slope, making it virtually impossible for her to control her balance. Granted, the only one who left with major bruises were Amanda — but at least said bruises matched her ego when she was sent packing at the end of the episode.
- Selma is about as gorgeous as they come, and she can scale a cliff like nobody’s business. But we’d love to see just a little bit more behind those exotic eyes of hers. Just saying.
- Where the heck were Desiree, Jackie and Daniella all episode?!
- Tierra the “Tierrable” and her villainous eyebrows must be stopped. That is all.
Who is your pick to win? Or at least to make it to the finale? I’d love to hear your comments!
Until next week …

One Response to The Bachelor: Weekly ramblings
When it was decided that Roller Derby would be this week’s group date I have to admit that it wasn’t well thought out and I felt really bad for Sarah. Roller skating is hard when you’ve got two arms for balance and must be even more so when you’ve only got half of one. My DISH co-worker says that they may have seen it as a way to test Sarah’s endurance and perseverance but I think that it was just a bad idea. Hopefully next week will be a little different. I’ve got my DISH Hopper set each week to record the show while I’m at work. It’s got the PrimeTime Anytime feature which means I don’t have to remember to set timers. Even if the show changes times or dates, I won’t miss anything. It’s just one less thing to worry about.
