I am so excited to introduce myself as a new Blogaholic. My name is Kim and I am a Canadian mom to four kids (boys and girls) aged 4-almost 19. I can be found most days posting about being a redhead on my blog Tales of a Ranting Ginger

I love to share deals and coupons I find that help save families money. I also enjoy reviewing products and trying out anything new. There is something exciting about being one of the first to test out a product. That is actually how I originally found PTPA. I was home with three small kids and watching a local morning show. I saw PTPA on the show and the information for parent testers popped up. I figured it was a great way to try out stuff, learn and share.  After all who knows what parents can use and benefit more than other parents. Having children in a variety of stages I can offer a wide perspective and am always looking for the humor in a situation. If I didn’t I would be going nuts since they keep me so busy on a daily basis. That is to be expected having a college student and a child in junior kindergarten and two sports fanatics in between.

A little bit more about me
Along with myself, my husband and our children, we have three large breed dogs in our country home close to the beach. Two are labs and one is a husky. Our Husky is 16 years old and still likes to put the other two in their place. Makes me laugh We also have a Macaw we rescued a couple of years ago. He was neglected and had plucked his feathers from stress. Since he had only one foot his owners found him ugly and kept him in a dark shed. Luckily we got wind of this and were able to bring him home to live with us and be spoiled. We have had many unusual pets over the years. Our family has lived in three provinces across Canada and enjoyed the travels of moving across the country. We also moved getting to meet so many interesting people and really explore the cultures that Canada has within it.

I hope you enjoy my humor, redhead stories and posts about my family and pets. I look forward to getting to know everyone a little bit better over time. Hoping to have a post for you all soon.
