Keep the legs crossed, and hold them so tha thw baby doesnt roll off and get everything dirty

    26. Yelena said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:25 pm

I tend to sing to my baby, so that he knows what is coming. We don’t have issues with struggling or wanting to get off the change table because he knows what to expect and can amuse himself with the bright wall sticks that we have up by the change table. I guess as with all things with babies, it is about providing some consistency.

    27. Sara said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:29 pm

Make it a game, sing or distract with a bottle. All depends on baby’s mood at the moment and you get a feel for what’s going to work at that change time.

    28. Jenell said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:36 pm

    33. Jess D said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:45 pm

Roll baby to the side rather than lifting their legs up. It’s better for them.

    34. Kimmie said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:48 pm

Distraction and preparedness. I have all supplies within my reach and a toy, light, book etc to hand him while I change him. Also I leave the dirty diaper under him until I am done wiping in case he decides he’s just not done yet. :)

    35. Amanda said on Jan 11th, 2013 at 12:50 pm

Depends on the baby, but my latest needs a toy/distraction to entertain her and keep her (sort-of) from wiggling.
