Throughout my life I have struggled huge with my skin and finding products that will actually help me. I’ve dealt with eczema since I was a child, but not to the extreme many experience. Yes, I got those itchy patches on my arms and chest that drive me crazy.
There are a lot of times when it makes me feel self-conscience and just plain old annoyed.
It is frustrating finding perfumes, laundry detergents and anything scented that won’t disrupt my skin.
Let’s just say I’ve given up in a lot of ways. Perfume doesn’t exist in my home and laundry detergents I always have my fingers crossed for the unscented skin sensitive stuff to be on sale.
I became quite excited to learn the La Roche-Posay Canada is helping 100 families throughout Canada that deal with eczema by providing these families with:
- Continuous eczema support
- Information and education to help families better manage their eczema and improve their quality of life
- A supply of Lipikar Baume AP and Lipikar Syndet at no cost for December, January and February
This is exciting!
The families are featured on La Roche-Posay’s Facebook page sharing the families’ progress and achievements throughout the program. Love this! I will finally stop feeling alone and get some eczema support from other people dealing with what I’ve dealt with forever.
Since I’m all excited about this contest I thought I’d share some details with you as well.
La Roche-Posay Contest
La Roche-Posay will be adding 16 new families to the program. Each selected family will receive the following:
- Continuous eczema support
- Information and education to help families better manage their eczema and improve their quality of life
- A supply of Lipikar Baume AP and Lipikar Syndet at no cost for December, January and February
To become a family, you must be a La Roche-Posay Canada Facebook fan. You can then submit your story to larocheposay@highroad.com between Nov. 1st – Nov. 18th and tell them in 500 words or less:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Name & age of child with eczema
- About your child’s condition
- What joining the program means to you
- What becoming a La Roche-Posay ambassador means to you

There will be a pre-selected jury of 3 people to review and approve each family submission. The contest will be featured on the La Roche-Posay Canada Facebook wall via status updates and images.
As part of the program, selected families will be able to submit photos and updates on their progress as they use the Lipikar products on their children. Eligible families must have a child currently under the age of 18 suffering from eczema and must be a resident of Canada.
Families can submit their stories between November 1st – November 18th. Families will learn of their acceptance by December 2nd and the program will begin December 3rd, 2012 and run until February 28th, 2013.
I love that La Roche-Posay is not only helping families that deal with eczema, but also helping many others with each family sharing their experience. It will be great not feeling alone in the eczema department. It definitely can be frustrating to deal with.
If your family struggles with eczema and meets the requirements, enter! Trust me, this is awesome and I wish I had children under the age of 18 so I could.
