My Emma loves to brush hair and to have her hair brushed. She has incredibly long locks and she often cries out when I brush through her tangled mess in the mornings. We are currently growing out her bangs and between brushing and pinning those back and getting her long hair off her neck there is a lot of brushing to be done. She doesn’t really have an ultra tender head, but she gets her fair share of knots and bed head.

Having the right brush makes a world of difference. SMOOBEE was uniquely designed to effectively brush through hair without snagging or catching. It works! It’s great for straight hair, wavy hair, and curly hair. For intensely curly hair, it will still take much effort but at least SMOOBEE can make it fun.

SMOOBEE offered to send a magic no cry hairbrush to each of the girls in our house. When they arrived, all three of us had fun taking them out of the package and giving them a good once over. I noticed that they had both types of bristles. I’ve tried hairbrushes with just the black type of bristles, but they didn’t quite go through my girls thick locks making the brushing process take longer than it should.

Our typical hairbrush is made of the white plastic tipped bristles because they go through most of the hair in one swoop. The combination of the two types of bristles was pure genius. I am a bit of a perfectionist when I put Emma’s hair into pony tails and the like. With her side part she tends to get lumps and bumps when I brush it and try to pull it back. With the SMOOBEE brush I can get Emma’s hair smooth, lump free and tangle free in just a few strokes without any “ouches”, leaving Mommy happy and Emma happy to get out and play.

Kaytlin has super thick hair and had a little difficulty getting the SMOOBEE to go all the way through. She has been using it for smoothing her hair when pulling it back but says she really loves her brush. I also tend to use the SMOOBEE when wanting to smooth my hair. My hair is not near as thick as Kaytlin’s and I don’t have any issues getting it to brush through all of my hair at once.

SMOOBEE also sent us a couple of sheets of Bedazzle jewels. Instead of Bedazzling all three brushes I let Emma go to town with her brush. She loves sparkly things and had a fantastic time personalizing her brush.

It’s been over a month now since we started using our SMOOBEE Magic No Cry hairbrushes. The overall verdict is that all three of us love our brush and wouldn’t give it up. There have been a few times recently that I’ve been in a hurry and tried to grab another hairbrush and Emma stopped me. I had to wait for her to find her SMOOBEE before she’d let me brush her hair. Having your little girl (with long hair) love to have her hair brushed is a fantastic benefit of finally finding a hairbrush that doesn’t pull, rip or tear through her bed head and tangles. Thank you SMOOBEE!

I am proud to announce the SMOOBEE Magic No Cry Hair Brush is PTPA Approved!
