Remembrance Day is a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war. Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a silent moment to remember the men and women who served and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.  In the USA, November 11 is called Veterans Day, and honors the men and women who served in the US Armed Forces.

Find fun ways to teach kids about the significance of Remembrance and Veterans’ Day and how important it is to honour those who have protected the freedom of this country.
