The Owie pillow a great idea!  If you’ve ever been pregnant or have had abdominal surgery you know how much the seat belt can suck! You know it’s there to keep you safe, and is the law, but there are times you just wanna rip that sucker off! The Owie pillow is designed to take some of that pressure off you tummy making wearing a seat belt mor comfortable.

When it came to taking the pressure off my baby bump this product was great! All the pressure was gone, and I felt like I had just put a fluffy quilt up on my belly. I think it’s very helpful for mommies to be and getting that belt up off the bump. Sometimes that belt can be one of the most uncomfortable things ever. I haven’t seen any other product out there like this. So its in a league of it’s own. It does what it says it will do. I’m a bigger mama though and I noticed that with the extra pillow in the way it was hitting the wheel. It wasn’t so bad though, but I did have to move the car seat back a bit.

I think it is well manufactured. But it does seem kinda delicate. As long as you took really good care of it, it should last a long while. I just have to make sure my kiddos dont get a hold of it. The packaging didn’t really stand out above and beyond anything else on the shelves. But the pillow it self did. Being that it was sparkly when it catches the sun it really does catch the eye. It made it feel like it was girly and just for me :)  I think it’s perfect for those mommies who have to commute in the car every day. It’s kinda like adding a pregnancy panel to your seat belt.

You can also put this pillow behind you while you drive for the extra lumbar support.

The idea is great and does work well. I’m just a bit out off by the price. I understand that it is the only product on the market right now that is like this. But I think that the price is pretty high. I mean I could make a pillow like this for less then $10 with the fabric of my choice. Or just use a pillow from the house. I think a good price would be more in the range of $19.99 -$25.00

All in all, I think the product is a great one! Would I currently buy it for the price that it is at now? No probably not. But if the price came down, yes most  definitely. I might be willing to pay the price if I were in the car a lot for work. The product is sound and like I said above a great idea. Currently they only have the three colors pink, white, and black, all have the “bling”. They will be coming out with some new color choices soon.

If it seems really delicate, no way would I use it in the car! It will likely make things worse in an accident. Besides that, you shouldn’t need to get the belt up and out of the way – you are supposed to wear it under your belly and across your hips, pregnant or not! This doesn’t seem like a safe product at all and I am wondering why you would put your seal on it.
