Once upon a time a little baby girl was born.  From the moment her mommy and daddy laid eyes on her they loved her.  They thought she was the most beautiful little girl in the whole world. Every day they told her how much they loved her.  They held her when she cried.  They laughed when she was being silly.

Soon the little baby grew into a little girl.  She learned to walk.  She learned to talk.  She was growing and learning every day.  Her mommy and daddy were amazed by her.  Some days she tested her mommy and daddy.  She was learning how to grow up and that’s not always easy.  Every day they told her how much they loved her.  They held her when she cried.  They laughed when she was being silly.

Before long the little girl grew into a big girl.  She went to school.  She made new friends.  She started to learn the value of family and friends. She didn’t always know the right thing to do just yet but she was learning and she was kind and thought of others.  Her mommy and daddy were very proud of her.  Every day they told her how much they loved her.  They held her when she cried.  They laughed when she was being silly.

Then the girl grew into a teenager.  She was becoming more and more independent.  This was a new phase of growing up and it had lots of ups and downs.  Sometimes she was happy.  Sometimes she was sad.  Sometimes she was mad.  Some days she told her mommy and daddy that she didn’t love them anymore but they knew that she really did.  Her mommy and daddy understood that being a teenager could be hard some days  Every day they told her how much they loved her.  They held her when she cried.  They laughed when she was being silly.

Eventually the teenage girl grew into a young lady.  She finished school and became a – dentist/dancer/teacher/writer/engineer/business owner… She fell in love.  She fell out of love.  She had her heart broken. She learned that life was full of lessons and that even though some of those lessons were difficult, even painful, that she was still growing up and that these things were helping her to become the woman she would be.  Her mommy and daddy knew that she was turning into an amazing woman.  Every day they told her how much they loved her. They held her when she cried.  They laughed when she was being silly.

The young lady continued to grow and experience life.  She found her true love and one day had a baby of her own.  She was overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by how hard being a parent can be and overwhelmed by how much love she had in her heart for her tiny little baby.  She thought she had the most beautiful baby in the whole world.  Every day she told him how much she loved him.  She held him when he cried.  She laughed when he was being silly.
