cupcakes51 PTPAs Cookin Up Something Fun for You! A Food Chat!It  comes as no surprise that many of us here at PTPA just love chatting about food!

In case you hadn’t noticed, our Blogaholics have been posting some fabulous recipes in the past two weeks (unbeknownst to each other)!  There have been a plethora of apple recipes and even a chocolate zucchini brownie recipe!

Whether it be talking about some fabulous party ideas we’ve pinned on Pinterest (one of my absolute favourite things to do! I’m addicted to Pinterest) or discussing the latest in ‘Clean’ Eating or eating only local produce/ingredients, we love tweeting with our friends and discussing all things food and foodie related.

Let’s face it.  Not only does food nourish us and fuel our bodies, but it also serves as something that unites people.  The most obvious: Families and friends gathering together to enjoy a meal during the holidays or special occasions.  Food is an integral part of our lives. This spoken from a self-proclaimed FoodNetwork addict!

We’ll be sharing recipes, tips for yummy meals, school lunch ideas and healthy vegetarian choices…and those are just a few of the yummy topics we will be chatting  about!

Christine is an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, mother, wife, freelance writer, product reviewer, brand ambassador, and blogger. Blogging became an integral part of C's life when she ended up spending her second trimester on strict bed rest for her high risk pregnancy. Writing about her giving birth to a preemie (Little One was born at 28 weeks and weighed 980 g at birth) and life in the NICU helped Christine get through a difficult time in what was supposed to be the happiest time of her life. Now that Little One is healthy and happy, C blogs about her crazy life on the farm and with a very "spirited" Little One! When she's not teaching ESL or spending time with her family and adorable little girl, along with her regular freelance writing jobs, C does editing work, writes press releases, and fills her time with being active in her community. She is currently the vice chairperson on her township's library board and parent liaison for her township's Early Learning Playgroup. Chrisine lives on a farm with her husband (Hubby), daughter (Little One), beloved canine baby (Chance), a bunch of rambunctious barn cats and some really stubborn cattle. She can also be found guest blogging on the Canadian Beef Blog, as well on her personal blog: www.lifeonmanitoulin.com . Always up for a friendly chat, you can find her on Twitter @chancesmommy.
