Halloween is my FAVORITE time of the year! I love it so much that I wanted to get married on Halloween, but the hubs didn’t think it was a good idea. So, I had my bridal shower on Halloween instead. Most of the older family members thought it was strange until they arrived and had a blast. I had a ‘dress up photo station,’ candy everywhere, skeleton bride and groom and even thank you cards that were photo-booth style of the hubs and I dressed as zombies and the words ’till death do us part’ at the bottom. Like I said, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Halloween!

Anyway, finding the ‘perfect’ Halloween costume can sometimes be hard. I often opt for do it yourself projects when it comes to this holiday simply because I can never find exacty what I am looking for. Lately, I have spent a lot of time on Pinterest and have seen some really neat and innovative DIY Costumes.  Here are a few costumes at I love, that both adults and kids can wear this Halloween:

Gum Ball Machine

 What kid, or adult wouldn’t love this sweet costume? So simple to make!

Hot Air Balloon

Have a cardboard box and some helium balloons? Take their breath away with this fun costume!

Flower Pot Costume

This is probably the cheapest and easiest costume to make! Mamas, this one is great as a last-minute idea!
