The Endorsement Parents Look For

Go ahead and comment! Our bloggers want to hear from you.

Think back to when you were a new parent…. If you aren’t already a parent, think about if you were expecting your first child… What are some nursery essentials that you’d have on your must have list? Would a diaper pail be one of them?

For me… it wasn’t and looking back I don’t understand why. I never put one on my baby shower registery, albeit I did receive one. Apparently it was a common gift, but I couldn’t fathom why…

And then I had a baby…

The diaper pail is the best invention ever. The perfect addition to any nursery. In fact, I’d now say it’s an essential must have in every nursery. It’s a quick and easy way to dispose of diapers. Diaper pails offer a tight self-sealing system that locks all the odors away. Could you imagine the stink your house would have lingering if you just tossed the diapers in the trash? P-U!!! Remember after all that newborn babies do tend to go through 8 to 10 diapers per day… In my case it was more like 12 to 14 diapers a day. That’s a heck of a lot of diapers!!!

One of my favorite diaper pails is the Arm & Hammer™ Diaper Pail. It also happens to be a PTPA winner. The Arm & Hammer™ Diaper Pail comes with bags that are easy to load. As well it has an Arm & Hammer™ cartridge that dispenses a wee bit of baking soda each time the lid of the pail is closed to help eliminate and lock any lingering odors away. I love that this pail is constantly combating and neutralizing odors!!! Nothing is worse than having a sweet smelling baby and a stinky nursery.

Check out this demo and see for yourself just how easy it is to use the Arm & Hammer™ Diaper Pail.

There are many additional nursery essentials that you can purchase to go along with your Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail. The Arm & Hammer Deodorizing Plug Protectors are a great fit in any home with a toddler and infant. It serves as a great way to block off outlets while deodorizing your house from all those nursery smells.

If you’re a Mom on the go (like me)… my diaper bag is constantly full of diapering essentials. Arm & Hammer™ offers all sorts of products for Mom’s like us. Whether it be change pads, multi-use pads (perfect for burping baby), wipes or nursery fresheners.

I carry an Arm & Hammer™ Nursery Freshener in my diaper bag. It smells amazing. Who doesn’t love the scent of fresh lavender!! It’s a good way to lock away the smell of spilled milk (trust me my diaper bag has seen a lot of that over the years) or soiled diapers. I may also be known to put a nursery freshener in my car from time to time to neutralize musty odors.

While I may have a toddler son who is heavily reliant on diapers. I also have a preschooler who is potty training. She hasn’t quite worked up the confidence to use public bathrooms yet. For that reason, I travel with the Arm & Hammer™ 3-in-1 Potty Seat by Munchkin® in my trunk. I’m totally the Mom that is known for my preschooler sitting in the trunk in parking lots while she has a piddle in the potty. You got to do what works, right?!

This potty would be awesome. I’m having a very hard time potty training my 2 1/2 year old. All she wants to do is play on it, I tell her not this isn’t a game, you need to pee on the potty you don’t want to have to wear diapers in big girl school do you.. :)

I'm a chic, sassy, suburban Momma to a feisty toddler and very busy infant. Life can be chaotic in a house of children 2 and under, albeit I'm pulling through daily one latte at a time. Spare time is quite sparse these day... However when I do get a few minutes (notice I said a few) of peace and quiet, you'll find me hopping social media websites, blogging, baking or grooving to music. There's nothing I love more than dancing like no one is watching. I'm a domesticated momma turned social media addict. Being domestic in a digital world.
