I saw this product a couple years ago right after I had given birth to my daughter Mia. I love the idea so much! Honestly, i’m surprised that someone didn’t come up with it years ago. Honestly who hasn’t given a baby a bath in the kitchen sink? It brings baby up to your level when they are very small and allows you to have a better grip on the while washing. There are many baths out today that claim they are perfect for newborns but to be honest you still holding your little baby to make sure they are ok. Most of the time I didnt use the baby bath. I just used the sink and a wash cloth under their bottoms to help with slipping.

There is a down side to the sink though. when your baby starts to get wiggly there is the sides and faucet. If your babies are anything like mine they LOVE the water, so when they start to wiggle pretty early. They are forever pushing off one side and bonking their head on the other side. No matter how far I turn the faucet to one side, my little ones will find it and grab onto it. This is where the “Blooming Bath” comes in so handy for that first year or so your using that sink.

You’ll want to fill up the sink and just put the blooming bath in. I love the design of the flower, it allows the blooming bath to cover every part of the sink making it as soft as a marshmallow. The bottom is a nice round pocket that helps baby relax and keeps him her extra safe. When you put baby into the blooming bath it surrounds your baby keeping them warm and feeling safe. Just like when they were in mommy’s tummy.

It even works for the older babies too. My daughter really dislikes being in the tub because it is still so big that she gets a bit scared. She was having having the best time in her blooming bath. She cried when I took her out! She normally likes when bath time is over. This time though it took some cuddle time to get her to calm down. She really, REALLY likes this. It took me about 30 shots just to get these few pictures because she wouldnt sit still long enough for a good picture!

The best part of the blooming bath is once your done just ring out as much of the water as you can and pop it in the dryer.

One down side to the blooming bath is storage. It is kinda big all flat. There really isnt a good way to store it. Although the blooming bath is pretty squishy so you can pretty much fold or stuff it anywhere. I’m just keeping the box it came in and putting it under the crib and taking it out at bath time. Also because the blooming bath is so soft I think it would also be a good play mat for when baby is laying on the floor.

All in all I think this product is fantastic! I think it is perfect for baby showers and comes in 4 colors, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and White. You can pick one up at BloomingBath.com for just $40. About the same price as other baby baths out there and so much cooler! Also as a blogger for PTPA Media I’m proud to say that this product also received the PTPA seal. So don’t just believe my review believe all the other mom’s out there that have tested this tried and true bath product!

What a great product! Your little one is too cute! I love the idea of Blooming Bath, since I used to bathe my wee one in the sink when she was tiny! Thanks for the great review!
