The Endorsement Parents Look For

Monthly Archives: September 2012

It  comes as no surprise that many of us here at PTPA just love chatting about food! In case you hadn’t noticed, our Blogaholics have been posting some fabulous recipes in the past two weeks (unbeknownst to each other)!  There have been a plethora of apple recipes and even a chocolate zucchini brownie recipe! Whether it be talking about some fabulous party ideas we’ve pinned on Pinterest (one of my absolute favourite things to do! I’m addicted to Pinterest) or discussing the latest in ‘Clean’ Eating or eating only local produce/ingredients, we love tweeting with our friends and discussing all … Continue reading

I am a 33 (oh yes, I admit this stuff) year old wife, a mother to 3 fantastically crazy children (1 boy & 2 girls) and a super spastic friend to many. My kids are Jordan (8), Maddisyn (6), and last but certainly not least is Kenzi, our miracle “micro-preemie” born at 1lb 14oz and is now a loud and proud almost 5 year old. Although I am involved in many of things, you will most likely see me … Continue reading

Hello! My name is Tracy and I am very excited to be a part of the PTPA blogaholic team. I have been an avid blogger for years and most recently created a personal blog (momredefined.com) that deals with the role of being a mom and how, even the littlest of things, seemingly redefine me. I am the mom to my miracle child who is now a bright, vivacious red headed four year old girl. You see, I was told I couldn’t have children. Lucky for my husband and I the doctor’s were wrong. I am also the proud parent of … Continue reading

It took Big B 20 minutes to transform our son’s first Transformer – not fun (for anyone). So when PTPA asked if we’d evaluate VTech’s Swith & Go Dinos, I was a bit freaked out. Continue reading

Hello PTPA, my friends call me Annie and I am so excited to be part of the PTPA Panel of Blogaholics! Over the years I have purchased many products with the PTPA sticker of approval. I think having another parents approval on a product is important because it is tried tested and true. As a new panelist at PTPA I hope to bring the perspective from a mother who has been there and tried that. My oldest three children are 22, 21 and 18 and having raised them has definitely helped me with raising our special needs 8 year old … Continue reading

Sarah Lynn in New Mommy Blogaholics - 4 comments - posted on Sep 28th, 2012

Hello! My name is Sarah Lynn and I’m a new PTPA blogaholic (and fairly new mom). My daughter Hannah is 8 months old. We live in Toronto with my boyfriend Chris (Hannah’s Daddy) and our black cat Booyah. Hannah and I fill our days with swimming, music, reading and playing, with the occasional episode of Sesame Street. (OK, that is a daily occurrence for me, but sometimes Hannah naps when it’s on). I am so excited to be part of PTPA – I always look for their stamp of approval when I am researching new items for my daughter, and … Continue reading

I was an internet geek before there really was an internet.  I’m talking about back in the days of dial up modems when social networking consisted of other computer geeks hanging out on bulletin boards which were owned and operated by the people who used them.  There was generally about two degrees of separation between anyone you might be chatting with in these groups (it was always friend of friends) but we still took internet safety seriously.  We never used our real names or got too specific about where we lived.  We sometimes arranged meet ups but they were always … Continue reading
