The Endorsement Parents Look For

Go ahead and comment! Our bloggers want to hear from you.

With schedules, screaming babies & work to be done, mommies simply don’t have time to spend more than 5-10 minutes (if that) in front of the mirror each morning getting ready. Simplifying your makeup routine is a way to get in and out and still feel put together!

Let’s start with our base, daily moisturizer is really important to keep skin hydrated but did you know that there are products that can provide moisture and a hint of coverage all rolled up into one tube? If you’re in a rush skip the face cream and head right for the hottest trend right now BB Creams instead. Need a bit more concealing under the eyes after some sleepless nights? Add a second layer where needed for more coverage.

Making one product work for your cheeks and lips is a huge time saver. Cream blushes or convertible cream colours are the way to go but make sure to read the packaging to see if the specific brand you are buying is safe to use on both areas. Stick to a lighter shade for fair to medium skin tones like a coral or blush pink & a plum or raspberry shade for darker skin tones.

A creaseless cream shadow & liner combo allow you to use one product for two steps. Blend the shade of your choice (medium to dark colours work best) over your lid with your finger or synthetic shadow brush, then dip your angle liner brush in and sweep across your lash line. Not only will it help make your lashes thicker but it will coordinate with your shadow shade for a monochromatic look ;)

THANK YOU! I actually needed this post. I have been feeling like I really need to start applying foundation, powder, and make-up again. After having Little One, I felt I never had time to do more than maybe a little eye make-up and lip gloss! I need to take time to do things for me…and that includes taking the time to put on my make-up! LOL!
