Whenever I Google which is best, cloth vs disposable diapers I always get two different answers. Some bloggers claim cloth diapers are the way to go with their environmental factor. Yet cloth diapers are made of cotton, one of the worst users of water. Disposable diapers cost less using coupons and will pay only $0.10/ diaper. So which is really the best option? After a long debate my husband decided to create a calculator which considers the cost of cleaning diapers that often gets missed and how much you pay for disposable diapers. The final truth came out – It … Continue reading

Whoever had the crazy idea to move when you’re in your third trimester is one strange and cuckoo person. Oh wait. Okay, in our defense, the market was really good, we wanted to get a new place closer to our daughter’s new school and wanted to be settled into our new home prior to baby boy’s arrival. I love back-to-school sales. I get slightly giddy over paper, crayons, protractor kits, staplers and all those other school supplies. But, as a homeschooler, there’s another side to the “back-to-school” season that the average school goer doesn’t think of. I’m not out shopping for a new backpack or the coolest new style of pen…. I’m debating my choices for curriculum. Back-to-school for me means the time of year that I’m busy evaluating the materials we used last year to decide if we like it enough to get it again, or if it’s time to search out something new. Language arts, … Continue reading

Any mother or parent out there knows how hard it is to get the kiddos to settle at night, along with anxiety and frustrations. The Tranquil Turtle is the solution to anyone’s sleep routine–i do say anyone because as an adult I LOVE it!
