A little over two years ago in March of 2010, I started a little hobby blog called This Lil Piglet to satisfy my need to for continuous mental stimulation after I was laid off from my career of 13 years in emergency services.  I had been around the blogsphere, read many other blogs, entered a few blog giveaways, found a few favourites and had an epiphany, I was meant to blog.  In the beginning I admit I wasn’t good at it; that is the first step, right? I’m surprised anyone ever read it but alas, I had fans; I had followers and by gosh, some people liked me.  Gasp!

In my beginner blogging days I didn’t know of any support groups like PTPA; I learned by trial and error, research and just focused on my passion for blogging.  It wasn’t long before my blog and I synced and found the direction I was meant to take.  I’ve always found reviews and giveaways to be a lot of fun and the reason for being a good portion of my blog .  I enjoy sharing products with my readers that I would use with my own family.  That is the epitome of what PTPA is about, bringing worthy products front and centre with parents today.  PTPA Blogaoholics is a place where bloggers help each other grow and where bloggers support each other, a community I am proud to be part of.

I am  genuinely honoured to be selected as a Blogaholic where I can feed my blogging addiction. Cough. I mean, where I can hopefully share some things you may find valuable or at the very least, a giggle now and then.  Over at This Lil Piglet you will find me blogging about various DIY projects from home construction to crafts, healthy eating and sustainable living to farm life and everything in between.  I will be bringing all of that and more with me to PTPA; I hope you will read along and share your thoughts.  I look forward to sharing and being part of the PTPA Blogaholics team.
