We did it! We finally tied the knot! I am now officially Mrs. Mergel.  Let me tell you that Weddings are a pain in the rear end!  So many details. What can go wrong, just might go wrong.  My In Laws were 20 minutes late to our Ceremony, we LOST the rings (We later found them at the Reception), and as we were leaving to go to the Ceremony, my Aunt’s house caught on fire (Everything is okay, it was caught just in time)!   After all was said and done, I have to say it went pretty well.  These past couple of weeks, I could not keep up with anything. If my head wasn’t attached, I would have lost it! It’s strange sitting here not having to worry about wedding details anymore because it’s OVER!  Back to the real world.

I found after my wedding I went experienced a post-wedding hangover/withdrawals. It felt so strange after a year of planning and what not to have nothing more to do other than relax and relish the moments. The big day comes and goes so fast!!!
Exactly! Well said! “Post-Wedding Hangover/Withdrawals” We didn’t get a Honeymoon, we spent time in town with all of our friends and family who traveled far to get here. So after the wedding, we had 4-7 additional days of events. I could use a vacation!
