Hey Everyone at PTPA.  I am welcoming myself on board here at PTPA and would like to tell you all a bit about myself and why I joined PTPA.

First & foremost I joined PTPA because I have heard through the social media grapevine that PTPA has a voice that is well trusted, well known and the company is well branded.  Wherever I go PTPA seems to be a name that comes up quite regularly from bloggers in forums talking about the company, to seeing their stand-out advertisement on many sidebars of some of the big blogs & websites I follow.  To me this all screams success and a brand name I want backing me as I review my way through the blogosphere.  Thank You PTPA for humbly having me on board.  I will do my best to make you proud and happy to have me as part of your family.

NOW Lets add a little introduction as to who and what I am in this big land of blogs and product reviewers.

Lets start off with why I started blogging in the first place.

Congratulations you have won my blog giveaway.. sound familiar to you? LOL well yes I’m sure it does and it did to me over a year ago.  I was a big sweepstakes junkie entering 100′s of contests & sweeps per night.  The big sweep wins were few and far between until I decided I had to try my hand at a few blog giveaways.  Well folks as you know its much easier to win these giveaways and the rush to win more was on.   Many times through entering these giveaways I also found entry options that included blogging about this giveaway, being the one that always wanted a leg up on the competition I needed to create a blog in order to cash in on these entries too!! Well that took on a life of its own and Linkies Contest Linkies was born.

I read as many blogs, how to’s, tutorials, googled how to do this and that to set up my blog,  I installed 100′s of buttons cramming my site full of way too many widgets and ads  before I settled down and tried to create a more professional look and work on finding my niche.

My niche ended up being exactly what I loved doing in the first place.  A Contest,Sweepstakes & Giveaways site geared towards helping those in the hobby find the best chances at winning.  I also reached out to companies and brands asking for samples to review so that I could reward my readers and bring in even more traffic.  More traffic meant better rewards for my loyal fans.

Promoting and helping others in the product review/giveaway niche was also my next target.  I now help others to promote their giveaways by offering a few ways to add them to my site.  I have a giveaway linky right in my left hand sidebar for maximum daily exposure as well as a giveaway submission form for those who wish or want my help publishing and promoting their giveaways  by posting them on my blog.

Next in my blog plans were to move up the ladder in rankings, stats & understanding my numbers.  I targeted getting my alexa ranking under 100,000 & reaching a PR 3 ranking.  By January of this year I got my alexa rankings under 100,000,  now down to 64000 & my PR rank has moved to a 3 as of May.  It has been a huge amount of hard hard work and plenty of long hours but the payoff and excitement have been well worth the price.

I blog at Linkies Contest Linkies with honesty, hard work and have a plan that I stick too daily.  My belief is that hard work will definitely pay off and that with my hard work will come enjoyable rewards and many fun times in the years to come.

Going forward my plan for the coming year is to meet many exciting new people, help my readers and fans win many prizes, forge strong long lasting friendships with other bloggers & companies and build Social Networking numbers around my niche.  I will always blog with honesty & integrity and promise to always do my part to help others in this fabulous atmosphere be the best they can be when it comes to knowing what I know and sharing what I learn.

We all win when we all share and support one another.

My plans for PTPA as a new member is to bring a fun, sometimes snarky & witty male sense of humor to this community and simply be who I am.  Who I am is for me to know and you to find out.  I again may be a bit snarky and come across as having a witty sense of humor but I’ll never be rude or unkind.  Fun is big on my agenda on anything I do.

Life is a wee bit too serious, lets ratchet up the fun a little.
