I don’t know if its because I’m older or wanting to save money, but with baby number 3 I wanted to go the natural/green route. Maybe it’s because I’m able to stay home with my youngest. I’ve been on a kick trying to make everything myself. Cloth diapers were first, then I moved to making her food. Have you seen the prices on baby food?! It’s out of this world. Organic baby food cost just as much! When I decided that I wanted to make her food I started looking at ways to make it. I wanted something that made it easy, but I have a small apartment , so I also wanted something small. I already have a food
processor but it’s big and bulk. I hate taking it out to make baby food. The Sage Spoonfuls starter kit it comes with EVERYTHING you need to get started. I love the size of the processor its just right for making baby food. It’s also compact enough that I don’t feel like its a chore to bring it out and make just dinner for my little girl, but its big enough that I can make several meals for her as well. The Immersion Blender head comes off and you just attach it to the processor. Use the immersion blender and a large bowl to make large amounts of baby food or use the processor for smaller amounts. I Am so in love with this product! It is super easy and fast. When I got the product I was able to make a bunch of baby food in about 15 minutes. Clean up was a snap as well. I also noticed that my daughter ate a lot more of the food I made her then the kind I buy at the store.

After you make your food you can put them in these great BPA-free 4 oz Storage Jars And you can stack them! Forgive the rest of the stuff in my freezer lol As you can see I have a small freezer and not a whole lot of room. Having these great little cups stack is everything for me! If they didn’t stack this way I wouldn’t be able to freeze them, and wouldn’t be able to make lots of baby food ahead of time. As much as it is easy to take this system out and use it, it isn’t something I want to do for every meal. You can buy more of these great jars and trays if you have more freezer space then I have. Maybe even a floor freezer
Most of the food will last a month or more in the freezer. The package also comes with great labels so you know what your feeding baby and the date that you made it! The package came with 60 labels! I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to get the first labels off and that it would be alot of soaking before it could finally be removed. But it came off really easy! This is all the food I make in 15 min. Im not kidding..that’s all the time it took! A total of 30 min from start to finish with labels and making. This system is so simple but so effective! I’m surprised It took me this long to find Sage spoonfuls! I love it! Sage Spoonfuls also recently earned the coveted Parent tested, Parent approved seal. All these mama’s can’t be wrong!
