Store bought or Homemade? That was never a decision that I needed to sleep on. Although I am not saying I never bought jar baby food before, yes I have. After personally tasting and choking on it, I never really looked back. Something that tasted that bad cannot be that good for my babies. So all 4 of R babies have been feed homemade baby food. With the exception of a few bottles here and there. SageSpoonfuls is making healthy EASY, for busy moms. Starting with the most amazing baby food cook book I have ever read. And trust me … Continue reading

2.5 million people couldn’t be wrong! That is how many views our ASL ABC song has had! I wrote this song as a way for parents to help sing and sign their ABCs with their children. I found the traditional ABC song too fast and wanted to make sure there was enough of a pause to let children transition from one sign to the next. With this song you can sign the alphabet, the sign for the word or both!  See if you can learn your alphabet and all the signs in this song. My next several posts will have … Continue reading

Before Christmas time we had the opportunity to evaluate a brand new kids website called LuckyKat TV.com. We had a month of fun, testing it out as a full-fledged member before the final evaluation. We are proud to announce that  Lucky Kat TV has won the PTPA seal of approval! Here is our review and thoughts about this new PTPA approved edutainment website geared for kids – Lucky Kat TV! As I got older, I started returning the favor and bought my mom a gift each year. While many may lament about the loneliness of Valentine’s Day, it doesn’t have to be that way! You can instead focus on the different types of love in your life, especially the love for your child. Here … Continue reading

I am really excited to be included in such a wonderful, inspiring, helpful, and resourceful group of bloggers!  I’ve been a fan of PTPA for quite some time now and of course, a huge fan of Sharon’s!  When I met her at SCCTO last year, I couldn’t get over how exuberant she was and how her laugh and smile were so contagious! Okay, and she has the most amazing hair EVER! A little bit about me: When I was pregnant with Little One, very early into my pregnancy, the doctors discovered that my cervix had already dilated. With an “incompetent … Continue reading

Ok I’ll spill.  I love Valentine’s Day.  Not the overpriced version, though, where restaurants charge triple so they can serve you mashed potatoes shaped like hearts.  I’m enamoured of the little symbols that can make our hearts swell over. I’m a romantic.  I love romance. I love love, and I love thinking about love.  While yeah, sure, people should be nice to each other every day, its sort of great that there’s one day where you can act like you’re in a chick flick and get away with it.  Now, I’m not saying you need to go big or go … Continue reading
