I could not be prouder that my favorite store now “sports” my favorite Seal.
Chapters Indigo to me has always been that spot that I go to for my “own” time. It’s that place that I know I can grab my Starbucks Americano Misto and curl up in a cozy chair with a stack of books and start sifting through them to find the one that is just right. There’s something about the cozy atmosphere that just draws me to the store every few weeks. My love of reading is paired perfectly with my love for this store.
My children are finally at the stage where they have developed enough reading skills to want to read their own books. They now want to be part of my “mom” time at Chapters Indigo. So I could not hav
e been more excited than when Indigo came to us with the fantastic enhancements they made to their children’s section and wanted our families to review their stores across Canada.
I now have to share my favorite store, but luckily its with my two favorite people; my children. The new kids section makes a compelling case for a love of reading. With all of the books sorted by age, my children love being able to find their favorite series and find a spot in a teacup to read. But, at the same time, the new Indigo Kids section has become my go to place for gifts for children. Not only do they have an amazing selection of toys and games but…wait for it…they now gift wrap for free in the kids section! This is such a time saver. I can pay for my children’s purchases and any children’s gifts in the actual kids section which is great because the kids can sit and read while I wait to pay and I can keep my eyes on them at all times. You can even buy gift cards themed for children which makes for a great loot bag or reward for good behavior.
Chapters Indigo has set the perfect environment for developing and nurturing a love of reading. I snuggle up with my coffee, the kids cozy up with their hot chocolate and we all get lost in the wonders of the stories we are reading. Chapters Indigo and PTPA are really a match made in heaven as far as I’m concerned.

I agree!! I love Chapters. When my kids were small, one of our favourite activities was to go hang out at the local Chapters or Indigo for the afternoon, look at books, and sip our drinks at the Starbucks.
We LOVE Indigo – both kids love going to check out all the new books, hang out in the big comfy tea cup chairs and see all the latest cool toys!
I love it too! I always ask my family for gift cards to Indigo whenever it’s my b-day or Christmas. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Love shopping for gifts there too!
I am so excited that Indigo now offers gift wrapping and great suggestions on bday gift ideas. Amazing that they are PTPA Approved! I always enjoy a visit to Indigo myself.
My kids and I visit the Newmarket Indigo once a week just to hang out, look at the new books and of course see all the new toys. I really love the look of the new “kid” friendly locations.
I was so excited to receive an Indigo flyer in the mail 2 weeks ago sporting the PTPA Seal! Way to go Indigo we LOVE the new IndigoKids.

Chapter’s Indigo has been one of my favorite stores for a very long time. After my son was born I decided to change fields and go back to school to pursue a career in health care. I picked up a part time job at Indigo throughout my studies and I had a lot of fun working there talking to customers about great books and helping them find the perfect gift. I love Indigo Kids too, congratulations to them!
I would love to spend the whole shebang on books for my kiddos. In store, of course, so I can turn it into an afternoon of sipping Starbucks, browsing, and guilt-free shopping.

I had to tell you about a baby product that has changed my world! So my little boy was swaddled in the Miracle Blanket until he was nearly 6 months old. He loved it but when it was time to un-swaddle him because he started rolling over and escaping from his swaddle… I couldn’t get him to sleep for anything! I went online for help and found that tons of moms were dealing with the same challenge. Then I found out about Zipadee-Zip Sleep Sacks! They were made by a mom who had the same problem with her daughter. So… I tried it and the first night my little guy slept 13 hours straight… And he’s kept it up since then. It is an amazing product and there is nothing out there like it. My husband and I owe the inventor of this our sanity and I my girlfriends have tried it and love it too! I know you are always looking for the next great baby product and this is for sure it!!

Chapters Indigo is my favourite store on earth!! So, I’m so happy it has the PTPA seal now. I’ve been going since they opened, and it was a favourite hang out for me and my kids when they were younger.
