The Endorsement Parents Look For

Go ahead and comment! Our bloggers want to hear from you.

I have incredibly sensitive skin and, unfortunately, seem to have passed that down to my little ones as well.  This means that I am always on the lookout for lotions, washes, and more that we can all use daily that won’t cause inflammation or break outs.  So, of course I was thrilled to find the PTPA Award Winning Diane Lai Skin Care products a fProduct-soothe-smallew weeks back as it was the first skin care line that works for all of us.

We got to try out the Diane Lai Soothe Spot Treatment, which is an ultra-rich and thick lotion formulated to soothe and heal delicate skin and the Diane Lai Rejuvenate Daily Moisturizer which helps protect against chapping, roughness, and dryness.  Both of these are now a staple in my morning and evening skin care and whenever my children show signs of dry skin.

As well as avoiding breakouts and providing moisture, I also like that Diane Lai offers a more natural and gentle solution for all of us.  After going through numerous brand names only to find they were too harsh or had ingredients I wasn’t comfortable putting on my kids’ skin, I was so happy to find the perfect solution for year-round skin care.  And, finding Diane Lai couldn’t Screen_shot_2011-06-17_at_10.50.40_pmhave come at a better time, as the change in seasons usually does a number on my skin and I loved being able to moisturize with the same lotion during the hot and cold temperature fluctuation.

A huge bonus for me since my husband hates lotions and creams is that the Diane Lai Soothe doesn’t have an overly floral fragrance or a chemical smell as other lotions do.  Even better is that unlike other moisture-stripping products I’m used to that sting when you apply them, Diane Lai skin care line never stung my sensitive skin or left it feeling exposed to harmful elements.  This made me feel a whole lot more comfortable using it for my little ones knowing it wouldn’t further inflame their skin or cause pain.

Diane Lai states “sometimes it’s not what you put in a lotion that makes it exceptional; it’s what you leave out” and that is very true in the case of Diane Lai skin care.  Since it’s Screen_shot_2011-06-17_at_11.16.07_pm hypo-allergenic, is chemical-free, and has zero parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, I feel good about using it every day and even on my babes.  Knowing none of the ingredients are doing damage to my skin or harming the environment, I can feel relaxed using in my daily regime.

Just look at all the benefits of Diane Lai skin care:
•    Hypoallergenic   •    Zero Parabens   •    Zero Sulfates   •    Zero Lanolin    •    Zero Phthalates   •    Zero Formaldehyde   •    Zero Artificial Fragrance   •    Zero Artificial Colorants   •    Zero Retinols   •    Zero Petro Chemicals   •    Zero Oxybenzone

Having ultra-sensitive, yet 40 year old skin, this would be awesome! I learned that the packaging is BPA free – given that I wouldn’t want to eat anything packaged in BPA, why would I want to put it on my skin if BPA is in the packaging. Also, I LOVE that it is Proudly MADE IN CANADA :0)

There’s some great information on her page! From the FAQ section, I didn’t know that “12–25% of Canadian children suffer from eczema”

I didn’t know that the prevalence was so high?
