This will be my last post for PTPA…………………………………………that I write in my 30′s.
On June 21st…2011…I will be 40 years old…and I am all kinds of excited about it!
I have declared this to be my Birthday Month, and I am trying to do something FABULOUS for myself, or someone else each day to celebrate my 40′luciousness…
As of today I have 12 days left in my 30′s so decided to make a list…( I do love my lists) Of 12 reasons why I am excited to turn 40 !
1) I TRULY don’t give a Monkeys Ass Cheek anymore what people think of me… this is number 1 for a reason… getting to this point about myself and WHO I AM…has truly changed my life…
2) 40 is the new 30……. Currently in the process of getting my drivers license changed… 1971 1981 …Ya baby!
3) I get a new BOX… to check on my next survey…
4) I can now live this quote!!… “You can be gorgeous at 20, charming at 40 and irresistible for the rest of your life.” Coco Chanel
5) I can flirt with a Hawt waiter… and get away with it, cus I am just a silly barely sober, married cougar …
6) I can drink more VODKA… and claim it helps with my arthritis…MEDICINAL is my word for this decade…
7) I can afford better Wine … and plan to drink more of it, it’s good for my heart after all…
8 ) Good things to come… STUDIES reveal many women in their 50s are enjoying better sex today than they did when they were younger.
9) Science is on my side… According to experts, this is the age when females hit their ”sexual confidence” peak – they know what they want in the bedroom and they are not afraid to ask.
10) I am Old enough to know better… and young enough to DO IT!
11) I understand Quality over Quantity… I don’t have as many Friends…but the ones I do have are far better and worth way more to me than ever before….This also applies to shoes and handbags.
12) I am Exactly where I want to be….and thankful every day to be here.

40 Love Martini…
1 ounce Vodka
1 ounce Chambord
1 ounce Lychee Juice
1 ounce White grape Juice
Add all ingredients to shaker filled with ice , shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a large portion of SELF LOVE! xo

As a member of the “I’m turning 40 in June”, I love your #1. I am finally at a stage where frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn. This is who I am, I’m surrounded by people I love, and their opinion is the only one I care about.
