Dolls that are tie wrapped into the boxes that are twisted into knots - require heavy-duty scissors.

Clamshell packaging - requires a sharp scissor or knife to open, has sharp edges once opened.

Dolls with hair sewn into the packaging - inevitably tears when being removed.

Twist ties around each individual part of a toy, that is then further taped down, requires cutting tape to even access the tie wrap, then untying them.

Large electronic toys, screwed into the box, requiring tools to remove from the packaging.

1) We believe that a parents recommendation is the best recommendation that you can get.

2)Just because it looks good in the packaging doesn’t necessarily mean it is good, check our site first to see what other parents thought.

3)The more people focus on buying the products with the Parent Tested PArent Approved Seal , the more quality products manufacturers will feel that they have to produce.

4)Almost 35% of this round of winners did not earn our seal.  This means that we don’t just hand it out to anyone with a product, our parent testers are very picky!

Oh, and by the way, we always like to remind you that we don’t test for safety. That means if the product says it is BPA free, we leave it up to the regulating government agency who allows these products into the market place to test that it is really BPA free. We are testing to make sure that it does what it says, that it isn’t go to break after being tossed around your home like a football, and that it serves a purpose, isn’t a waste of your money and that the manufacturer has really taken the time to include features that will make life easier for you as a parent.
