Oh, and by the way, we always like to remind you that we don’t test for safety. That means if the product says it is BPA free, we leave it up to the regulating government agency who allows these products into the market place to test that it is really BPA free. We are testing to make sure that it does what it says, that it isn’t go to break after being tossed around your home like a football, and that it serves a purpose, isn’t a waste of your money and that the manufacturer has really taken the time to include features that will make life easier for you as a parent.

Hello PTPA readers! My name is Lena, and as a member of the PTPA Panel of Moms, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me! For my very first post, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself, let you know what I’m all about, and in turn what I’ll be bringing to PTPA’s blog.

So first things first: I am an Aries. Aggressive, impulsive and stubborn. Somehow I found a wonderful man who accepts and encourages these qualities, and have been happily married for just under 2 years. I am also Mommy to the happiest baby in the world, Ryder James - who turned 1 on Mother’s Day! Besides the obvious joy I derive from parenting, I am equally in love with fashion, cooking, shopping, and sleeping.

My obsession with deal-seeking began when I decided to become a stay at home mom. After years of living life in the boardroom, I traded it for the opportunity to raise my child - but living well on one salary definitely meant trimming (and eliminating) the excess. Since I love to shop, simply abstaining was not an option; so I found an easier solution - just work at constantly finding the best quality for the best price. My blog, Listen to Lena!, showcases the hottest deals both online and in-store, and incorporates fun facts, product reviews, recipes and more.
