As both a parent and educator I recommend the Kobo Mini. My daughters Katie 8 & Andie 7 have both enjoyed testing out this Kobo. Katie loves to read so for her this was a natural extension of her reading activities. Andie is a reluctant reader, but using the Kobo these past few weeks has made our mandatory 15 mins of reading each night less of a chore. She likes the empowerment she feels holding the mini on her own and choosing what to read and when. This is the perfect sized ereader for her with controls she is able to easy navigate.
The Kobo Mini is a convenient and lightweight method to take your books with you while on the go. Even though the Kobo Mini is small, it has all the features you could ever want: Wi-Fi, a dictionary to look up words you aren't sure of, touchscreen and it can store approximately 1000 books!
I enjoyed testing the Kobo. I was able to download many free books which I liked. The set up was very easy. I liked receiving the emails with various book titles that I could purchase as well. In addition, I liked that I could load children's books on it for my children to read or for me to read to them. This will come in very handy the next time we travel. We will not have to bring any hard copy books. I will just load them onto the Kobo and bring this instead.
I used to have a slight apprehension when it came to purchasing ereader products. I had one bad experience with another brand that ruined my confidence. I'm so glad to have given the Kobo Mini a try. It restored my confidence. The Kobo Mini is very user friendly and perfect for those on the run. It's the perfect size for travel. You can carry it with you virtually anywhere. The wifi feature makes it easy to gain access to your Kobo account, and gives you the option to download new books while away from your computer or home. This capability really appeals to me. Imagine you're sitting in a coffee shop, sipping a latte when you finish your read. You're not ready to leave... well you don't have to. Simply download a new book with the touch of a button. Mind you said coffee shop would need to have wifi. ;)
I would recommend this book to Moms, travelers and individuals who love to read on the go! It's every little bit of wonderful.
