I love the idea of shopping at Sears, it has been around for so long. However I never do as I find the store disorganized and lacking selection. This baby room is surely a step in the right direction to getting new shoppers into the store.
I set out to the store not really thinking I would be excited to be returning later. The last few experiences I found the baby\children section disorganized and understaffed. I was stunned to see the difference, organized, easy to navigate my stroller through. TONS of on floor items to touch and feel and ask questions about. I used to have to order though the catalogue or go to competitor. I'm really pleased with the service I had. Some of the items could be better marked for example items with extras to add to the base...when the display is the complete set it would be really good to clearly know that some parts are additional. The selection was incredible and I think the value you get is good. Prices are mid range but the service is worth it. I would definitely go back, even though it was somewhere I avoided in the past!
What I love about The Baby's Room section of Sears is the varied price points of similar items. And I know that they are ALL top of the line because the Sears reputation is a strong one! I've only ever bought my car-seat products at Sears because I trust their sales people, reputation and warranty options. The variety of products is awesome and the staff members are beyond accommodating. I regularly tell my friends about their great service!
The Baby's Room layout was clean, bright, spacious and very cosmetically appealing - almost felt like a baby boutique. The signage was nice to look at, consistent, very large and clearly marking the different sections of the department making it easy to browse and find exactly the products you were looking for.
I enjoyed a pleasant shopping experience at The Baby's Room at Sears and was wowed by their extensive makeover. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
I loved the clean, open feeling of the department and it felt very boutiquey. There were many displays showcasing the products, everything from cribs and bedding to car seats and strollers so you could try before you buy. The product selection was very large offering everything you need for your baby in neat, easy to find sections with nice big signs so you didn't waste time looking.
The stroller display was large and beautifully laid out - I loved how they were organized by style and how easy it was to try them out by simply moving them out - with no problem at all - into the large aisles to take it for a spin.
My overall impression was WOW as I have shopped in this department many times over the years and it has clearly had a massive makeover!
