For the longest time I have been contemplating buying a video baby monitor for my 2 children Not because they are babies, but because they love to play on their own in our finished basement. I often thought of this idea as a dream situation if I had the ability to keep an eye on them at all times, and still could provide them with the space they needed to play. When I was approached to review the The Motorola MBP33 Video Baby Monitor I was thrilled, and anxious to put my theory to the test! This monitor has made my life so much easier! The My ultimate favorite features are the portability and clear image! I used this monitor mainly to keep an eye on my children while at play in the basement, and loved that I could roam the house while still keeping a clear and watchful eye on them at play. I also really love the 2-way talk feature. Instead of constantly travelling a flight of stairs or yelling every 15 minutes, I am able to communicate and hear them at all times This monitor is Reliable and easy to use. I have not yet experienced a frozen screen or unreliable signal yet from the MBP33 Video Baby Monitor. Not to mention, it is really easy to use right out of the box! The selections and useability are very similar to a home phone.

I'd have not considered purchasing a video monitor before using this one from Motorola. It's such a nice luxury to not have to go to her room with every peep and cry; I can see immediately why she's upset. I can also immediately communicate with her using the 2-way communication option. The monitor also provides a selection on lullabies that can be controlled from the parental unit and is rechargeable - something I've not seen in too many baby monitors.

In four years of being a (perhaps slightly neurotic) parent, I've now owned three video baby monitors. The first was more than $300, the second was $250 and this one I tested is a bargain at $179.99. I have never been so satisfied. From the two-way microphone to the crystal-clear night vision and crisp sound quality, the Motorola MBP33 Video Baby Monitor is worth every penny - and then some. Outstanding reception everywhere in my house and on my property (and even two or three houses away), amazing (rechargeable) battery life, nice long power cords, and the option - if you want - to play lullabies remotely. This is a must for any new parent.

I have fallen in love with The MBP33 Video Baby Monitor it's given me a whole new experience as a parent I have not yet seen. I have spent so many precious moments sitting and watching our baby play in his crib and finally lay down and drift away. Comforting him back to sleep after he wakes through the mic, or putting on some music from your bedroom gives you a few more minutes of sleep. I cannot see my life without The MBP33 Video Baby Monitor now!
