I had the opportunity to review the Smart911 service and website and am extremely impressed with the service. I know some people might be skeptical when it comes to providing information about themselves online. However, with Smart911, I knew I was using a secure and safe site, plus I was able to create a password that I was comfortable with. One of the greatest things about this site/service is that I could input all sorts of valuable information about myself and my family that could easily be accessed in the event of an emergency. I'm a single mom to a 3 year old. At his age, he would not be able to articulate too many details to a paramedic if something were to happen to me. When he was a baby, I had to call 911 and I remember now how scary it was. I was so afraid I was going to pass out and not be able to let the paramedics into the house. My son was a baby. If I had passed out, the medics wouldn't have been able to ask me questions to gather valuable information about my health. Now I have asthma, so I have a greater concern about something happening to me. Now I feel a lot better knowing I have been able to supply information that would help doctors or paramedics in an emergency situation deal with me and my medical conditions quickly even if I'm unable to provide the information myself.
